New group on Ravelry - Plants to Dye For
Posted by bellavitafarm under Dyeing, Natural Dyeing | Tags: Dyeing, natural |Ok, so I moved my blog over to WordPress and now Ravelry doesn’t have anything to show for the move. Well I do, I started a new group on Ravelry the other day called “Plants to Dye For”, it’s all about dyeing with natural plants. I’ll be writing a three part article on Natural Dyeing for the weekly newsletter on Ravelry (TWIR). The first article is scheduled for April 28th and it will focus on natural dye gardens. The second article will be about wildflowers weeds, mushrooms and lichen. The third will be on an overview of natural dyeing.

Yay! I just found you via that first article. I have not even started any natural dyeing but am anxious, anxious, anxious to learn. I’ll be reading your articles, blogs and checking out the links on your website. Thanks for starting the Ravelry group. I just joined–my name on R is “purpledog”.

Hi,
I, too, just found you via the Ravelry article.
I’m a native Florida gardener who has recently taken up knitting and am interested in all aspects of the fiber process. I look forward to learning from you. Thank you for beginning the group. I’m headed over to join.
